While I have always been interested in perfumes and loved discovering new scents, it has been the last two years that I have actually developed my understanding of perfumes and perfumery. Now I feel like my sense of what perfume is and my taste for perfume is deeper and better than what it was. I believe that anyone can train their nose and become a perfume expert, and the only condition for becoming perfume connoisseur is true love and passion for perfume. I think that the best way to discovering the world of perfumery is to train one's nose by smelling and analyzing the olfactory scenery of our everyday life. The new perfume from YSL, Libre . For all those who are bored to death with banal, indistinguishable fruity-floral compositions. YSL introduced Libre with an uplifting campaign featuring singer and model Dua Lipa. This is an unexpected collaboration. I find it surprising because of the associations I have with the brand and the music star - and they are completely different. The perfume, the bottle, the campaign create a wonderful proposition for women. YSL Libre bottle YSL Libre has an ultra-elegant packaging and seems to refer to the gold-dripping, demonstrative style of the 1980s. The fragrance is enclosed in a square bottle reminiscent of a 80's power-suit. The black lacquered cap is wrapped in a golden chain. The flacon is wrapped in a golden YSL monogram. It's elegant in a decadent manner.  The YSL Libre bottle is beautiful, simple yet luxurious. Since my first encounters with niche perfumery I have known that it will be impossible to hold all the reflections, impressions and associations that come with getting to know new fragrances in my head.
