The Liquid Matter. A blog about perfumes

Long time ago I have fallen in love with scents. Since my first encounters with niche perfumery I have known that it will be impossible to hold all the reflections, impressions and associations that come with getting to know new fragrances in my head. I needed a place where I could release and organize my thoughts. At the same time, with growing knowledge of perfumery and my love for it, I felt a growing urge to share it with others. That's how I became a perfume blogger. I invite you to keep me company on my journey through the world of perfume.

While there is plenty of blogs about perfumes, I hope to make this place distinctive. I'm far from seeing perfumery as a representation of social status. I don't believe in perfume as a simple mean of seduction. I see perfume as doors to other dimensions of reality, a form of art that competes with music and poetry in creating moving narratives. I think that perfumery is a matter worth understanding on the deepest level, where carnal pleasures and basic instincts meet with spiritual and intellectual comprehension.

My approach to perfumery is both analytical and enthusiastic. I hope that you will find pleasure in reading my blog about perfume: The Liquid Matter
